Long Live the Teen Movie, or Maybe not?

According to Charlie Lyne film blogger and writer for The Guardian  the golden age of teen film ended in 2004, with the likes of Mean Girls and I have to say, I think most people agree.  Sometime in the New Year a documentary proving, arguing or maybe just illustrating the time whereby the best, and most  teen films were made in the period of 1995 to 2004. The documentary aims to "search for teen movie truth" and to prove that the teen films made within this period not only shaped a generation but are used as the building blocks of teen movies made today. The comparison between films like 'Angus, Thongs and perfect Snogging' and 'Wild Child' both films of later noughties to Clueless 1995 which quit frankly remains one of the best teen films ever made, are without a doubt there. (Although these films are not nearly as good.) Prove that the realisation made by Lyne is clearly the truth, and a worthy subject to be exploring.  To get involved or to help in anyway go to: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/charlielyne/beyond-clueless
